Going on in an adventure with your family is two times the fun rather than when you travel alone. You will be with your loved ones and enjoy the sights together. When you are with your kids, you might as well go to places where they can enjoy. The joy of looking at the happy faces of your family is priceless and maybe you can enjoy the trip as well by embracing the child within you.

In Calgary, there are many tourist attractions that you can find but one attraction that stand among all of them where both adults and children can enjoy and that is the Calgary Zoo. The Calgary Zoo is a home of 1,000 animals and in which every person would like to witness. They have a new addition to their family the Penguin Plunge where they feature four species of penguins. Kids would enjoy looking at some the animals that are gathered in Calgary Zoo. The place would teach your children about some of the animals that are found in the other side of the world, know what they look like, and give importance to Mother Nature in the process. So the place will not only entertain them but it will also teach them about the animal kingdom. This is also a good opportunity for adults to learn a thing or two about some animals and that we only see in books.

Aside from the animals, they also have activities for visitors such as storytelling, show how to take care of animals like bathing them, and many more. Some of the events are free but there are some that requires separate admission fee aside from the entrance fee.

Are you excited to see some of the animals in Calgary Zoo? Head on to Calgary and enjoy the place. the zoo is open every day, except December 25 and Zoogala, from 9:100am-5:00pm.

Travelling by air has certainly developed since it was invented. Travelling by air has absolutely revolutionized the way we travel. We don’t need to pack up several months of outfits and prepare for a prolonged journey on a vessel, because if you’d decide to visit Europe all you have to do is purchase a ticket and a plane ride of approximately 7 hours will get you there. Flying has simplified so many issues with travelling, not to say that it doesn’t have got its crutches, but every year you will discover new options and choices to make flying more at ease and readily available.

If you are travelling by air the very first time in your life I’d really like that you look at a few tips:
-Make sure all your papers are in order. You must have a passport if you’re travelling around the world and you might require your health insurance papers if you’re travelling within your country, in the event of an urgent situation. Keep these things all in a bag you’ll be having with you on the flight, and never lose sight of that bag. Never pack them alongside your checked bags. Airlines usually lose my bags whenever I travel, i reall have learned my lesson.

-Make sure your airplane is leaving in time; this can be accomplished by checking out the webpage of the airport you’re flying from. As well as on your trip back make sure your ride back hasn’t been postponed certainly nothing has changed.

-These days security is fairly tight in international airports. Make sure you have no liquids on you. Cooperate with all the security staff; particularly if you are travelling inside of a country you don’t speak the language. I’ve found it’s useful being polite and courteous. First time fliers may possibly often be nervous around the many guns and uniformed people, but consider relaxing as you might be giving off the wrong signals by being anxious.

-Wherever you are going, travel light-weight. Most airlines are beginning to charge for those checked baggage. So keep it basic and simply do carry-on if you’re able to. You can expect to steer clear of the charges and you might even save yourself sometime after arriving at your desired destination. Only carry-ons may not be ideal for international travellers, since you also sometimes really need to load up in toiletries. Call the airline or take a look at their webpage to be certain of what you might and everything you cannot take with you on a carry-on.

-If you’re travelling internationally, make sure you get as much knowledge of the area as you can. Buy a guide and some maps, to assist you. Furthermore you will should speak or understand a bit of the language spoken at that country; if you don’t already speak it I like to recommend taking some lessons on the basics to get around and enjoy the culture more in depth.

Calgary has wonderful and informative cultural centres for instance The Military Museums and the Art Central, for you to delight in the creativity and intelligence of the human race.
I was also walking around the +15 one day when I was living in Calgary and I definitely do have to say that finding Art Central was a very wonderful, hip and urban places in Calgary. I have to applaud not just the Art Central ambiance but each and every one of the merchants at Art Central.

#2. Olympic Plaza
205 8th Ave SE Calgary, AB

Olympic Plaza is a beautiful addition to our city. Having originally been built as the venue for the medal ceremonies at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, it feels like we’ve come full circle after having celebrated the cross-country Olympic Torch Relay here last week.

I swear to you, every single person who lives in Calgary was jam packed in the plaza and the excitement and pride of our fellow Calgarians was unmistakable.

In the summer, The Olympic Plaza hosts concerts and festivals and in the winter, it’s used as a public skating rink.

We are very lucky to have such a beautiful area right downtown Calgary and we’re even more lucky that it is accessible via the C-Train (Via both the Olympic Plaza stop and the City Hall stop).

I’m definitely one proud Calgarian, and it’s places like these that really seal the deal for me.

#3. Prince’s Island Park
4 St & 1 Ave SW
Calgary, AB

Perfect place to walk around and relax, or a great starting place for a jog. If you are jogging, head west and cross at any of the bridges for a good loop. The park itself is an inner city jem which usually has events and activities going on during the summer.

I’ve driven by The Military Museums a thousand times but it never occured to me that this would be something to do with my kids. With their mother’s blessing, and help from a deal on TeamBuy, I decide to escape the 4 feet of snow and test the museum out.

My children are aged between 7 and 12 years old and I am amazed to say that each of them had an awesome time. It was educational AND entertaining. I could imagine spending an entire day there myself and still find myself coming back again. It gave me a greater appreciation of historical as well as current sacrifices that are made on a daily basis. If you are looking for an inexpensive activity for the whole family I would highly recommend The Military Museums.
